dc.description.abstract In this paper, I consider the difficulties encountered in the attemp to offer an anti-representationalist theory of knowledge that includes a characterization of epistematic and moral progress. My paper will be focused on Richard Rorty's work. I take it to be a good place to found the discussion because Rorty's critique of traditional epistemology, together with his defense of political liberalism, lead him to allow for the possibility of combining anti-representationalism with the thesis that there are eventual changes in our practices that may be regarded as better/worse than others. es_AR
