By means of a macroscopic analysis a series of similarities of a technological as well as decorative nature are commented, which are identified in some ceramic groups of the collections proceeding from the sites of Middle Period of Copiapó Valley and those contemporaneous of the northern and central section of the Vinchina Valley. The landscape characteristics, which might have favored the interaction between both valleys, are considered.
A través de un análisis macroscópico se comentan una serie de similitudes de carácter tecnológico y decorativo, identificados entre las colecciones cerámicas de los sitios del Período Medio del Valle de Copiapó y las recuperadas en sitios contemporáneos del sector centro-norte del Valle de Vinchina. Se consideran las características del paisaje que habrían favorecido la interacción entre ambos valles.
