In this chapter, I present the legacy of Dr. Myriam Tarragó, one of the most outstanding professionals in Argentinian archaeology. Through her memories, research, and published work, I describe Dr. Tarragó’s professional career, teaching years at the university, and experience managing museum collections. By breaking the “glass ceiling,” Tarragó has become an example to women in the discipline due to her relentless multifaceted career and academic performance, although interrupted by several political processes in Argentina.
