Aproximaciones a la doctrina del pecado original en Anselmo de Canterbury (1ra parte)

Abstract

La primera parte de este estudio pretende mostrar el lugar preponderante de la reflexión sobre el pecado original en la arquitectura del De conceptu virginali..., una obra difícil y singular del “corpus” anselmiano. Gracias a una triple lectura (centrada sucesivamente en Adán, Cristo y todo hombre) que pone de relieve el uso particular de las categorías utilizadas por Anselmo para articular su discurso, podemos captar mejor el sentido de la doctrina misma, cuyos puntos principales (la naturaleza humana pecaminosa, el tema del pecado original, su transmisión, su naturaleza y su gravedad) dibujan, en cierto modo, el retrato de una humanidad en el exilio (c. 27). The first part of this study aims to show the preponderant place of the reflection on original sin in the architecture of De conceptu virginali..., a difficult and singular work of the Anselmian “corpus”. Thanks to a threefold reading (centred successively on Adam, Christ and every man) that highlights the particular use of the categories used by Anselm to articulate his discourse, we can better grasp the meaning of the doctrine itself, whose main points (sinful human nature, the theme of original sin, its transmission, its nature and its gravity) draw, in a certain way, the portrait of a humanity in exile (c. 27).
