Resumen :	Se pone de relieve aquí, a la luz del libro XIX de La ciudad de Dios, el carácter ontológico de la paz para Agustín, al ser aquella que conserva a todo tipo de cosa creada en el ser. Así, esta nota presenta los vínculos entre la pax y el ordo en la teoría agustiniana. In this note, regarding the 19th book of The City of God, the ontological character of peace for Augustine is highlighted, being that which preserves every kind of created thing in being. Thus, it presents the links between the pax and the ordo in Augustinian Theory.
