Abstract:
En un contexto de reconocimiento legal de los derechos sexuales y reproductivos en la Ciudad de Buenos Aires, el acceso a la ligadura de Trompas de Falopio (o ligadura tubaria) constituye uno de los límites en cuanto al contenido y alcance efectivo de derechos que hacen particularmente a la ciudadanía de las mujeres. En este trabajo se analizan algunas actuaciones iniciadas entre los años 2000 y 2005 ante la Defensoría del Pueblo de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires, por parte de ciudadanas/os que buscan acceder a la realización de esta práctica en los servicios sanitarios públicos de la ciudad. La revisión de los expedientes generados a lo largo de este circuito de demanda -a partir de las nociones de biopoder y biolegitimidad- permite identificar las lógicas con las que operan los diversos actores sociales en este campo particular de la política pública.
